The Christmas run-up has been so much bigger than usual this year and, for a lazy grumpy bastard who usually gets stressed out by the holidays, I've... really enjoyed it. I still have some loose ends to tie at work but that should be sorted by the end of the week. I've sent out twelve little Ghost-y art cards to Christmas-celebrators around the world who sent me requests on Tumblr, I've dived into fabric work to recreate a visually impaired friend's M&G photo from September in super-tactile form for a Christmas surprise, I'm taking part in the fandom Tumblr Secret Santa (Secret Satan??) as a writer, and I found out yesterday I've been accepted as an artist for the first nemA fanzine that'll be out in Feb/March 2019.

My friends and family are almost all bought for (even Goblin Tim, the con artist cat from next-door-but-one who comes round every evening and tries to eat my pizzas), I just have a mini cross-stitch and a half to finish for my mum and gran and the annual 'local weird sweets and snacks' exchange we do with a friend in Germany to post off, and I'm having dinner tonight on the other side of the river with my cousin and uncle. I'll wrap and pack on Friday, clean the house on Saturday, and then it's a coach that night all the way down to the seaside until just after New Year's.
